Meine Worte

Hallo! Ich bin Rebekkah, Auslandschweizerin, eigentlich aus Amerika. Ich wohne seit September in Basel, und studiere an der Musik Akademie. Bin Pianistin, aber ich möchte auch Autorin sein. Ich wohnte für sieben Jahre in Budapest (bin jetzt 22J), und ich spreche Ungarisch (besser als Deutsch!), aber Englisch ist meine Muttersprache. Okay, enough with the German. I don't really speak it too well. Fortunately I can get by on my minimal German at the Musik Akademie, which is where I study here in Basel. I am a crazy pianist, with aspirations of being a crazy writer as well. I also love languages, and besides English (my first language) and German (which I'm not sure I can really rate as one of "my" languages yet), I speak Hungarian. This is cause I lived in Budapest for seven years, which is definitely long enough to get some knowledge of even as weird a language as Hungarian. Right, that's all from me. Oh yes, in case you are confused by my user name, it comes from the expression "you can't squeeze blood from a turnip", which means you can't ask something from someone that they simply are not able to produce.
