Welcome back to Switzerland.
Oh thanks, it's good to be back. It always big fun when we're here. We played at Caprices earlier this year and it was pretty amazing.

I read in a Swiss newspaper that you're not friends anymore, only business partners. Was the reunion just because of the money and for the fans?
Where did you get that from? Of course not. We're friends now like we were friends in the old days. But we've driven each other crazy back then. We needed to have a break. But we love making music and we love making it with Skye so that's why we got back together. We missed each other. It feels right with Skye.

How was recording and touring without Skye?
It was quite good although it was totally different. We've done things that we would never have done with Skye. In the end we're musicians and we love to make music. It was good to try out the things we did without Skye. But it's great to be together with Skye again. It's much more intense than before.

Your new record sounds like "Big Calm".
I think the new record sounds like Morcheeba. It came out very naturally. I think we made the record we wanted to make, it's what we like and what the fans like. It was great to record it, we wrote, recorded, engineered and produced it ourselves.

Is the reunion a one-off thing?
No, definitely not. We want to continue like that. You never know what's in a few years but it feels damn right for the moment. It's really great to be back with Skye.

Are you happy with the tour so far?
Yes, it's been amazing. I think it's quite exciting and psychedelic, sometimes it's rocking, too. It's great to see all the people singing along to the songs. That's what we like. It's not about album sales, music is free nowadays, you know, success for us means to be able to make a record and put it out. The sales were important in the beginning but I don't remember a lot from that time, I was too stoned. We're older now.
