In der Casa Siddhartha besteht die Möglichkeit zur kurz oder längerfristigen Anmietung
von MÖBLIERTEN wie UNMÖBLIERTEN Zimmern im EG bzw. 2.OG.
Es gibt insgesamt 8 separat vermietbare Zimmer.
Alle Zimmer sind Nichtraucher Zimmer. Möglichkeit zum Rauchen besteht auf einer
überdachten und auf einer nicht überdachten Terrasse.
Das Haus liegt am Stadtrand von St. Gallen 6 Gehminuten von der Haltestelle der
Trolleybuslinie 5 (Riethüsli - Bahnhof - Rotmonten) bzw. der Appenzeller Bahn entfernt.
Der Bus fährt alle 10 min direkt zum Bahnhof und zur Universität, die Bahn ins Appenzeller
Land.
Das Haus liegt an der Ausfallstrasse von St. Gallen Richtung Appenzell. Die
Lärmbelastung ist wegen guter Isolierung jedoch nur mässig.
Direkt vom Haus aus besteht Zugang zu einem weitläufigen System von Wanderwegen.
Wer als Student an der HSG studieren will sollte wissen, dass es dafür günstiger gelgene
WG`s in St Gallen gibt
Neben dem eigenen Zimmer stehen den Bewohnern im 1. Stock eine Küche, ein
gemeinsames Esszimmer, ein Wohnzimmer und in der warmen Jahreszeit eine geräumige
Terrasse sowie im bzw. anschliessend an das Untergeschoss eine Waschküche bzw. ein
überdachter Freiplatz (mit aufklappbarer Tischtennisplatte) zur Verfügung.
Musikfreunde können den Flügel im Ess/Wohnzibereich benutzen, Lesebeflissene die
Bibliothek im UG, die auch zum Musizieren oder für WG Parties oder Gruppensitzungen
benutzt werden kann.
Die Gesamtfläche der gemeinschaftlich nutzbaren Räume beträgt 107 qm.
Neu eingerichtete bzw. komplett renovierte Bäder bestehen auf auf allen Etagen.
Die Preise der Räume variieren entsprechen Grösse, Ausstattung (möbliert / unmöbliert)
und Lage zwischen zwischen 460 und 730 CHF.
Die Zimmerpreise beinhalten Strom, Wasser, Heizung, W-Lan
Bei kurzfristigen Anmietungen fallen Zuschläge an ebenso bei ev. Doppeltbelegung eines
Raumes. Details über Preise und Verfügbarkeit sind auf Anfrage erhältlich.
Der Hausbesitzer, ein junggebliebener pensionierter Mediziner, besitzt im Haus ein
Schlafzimmer und ein Büro als Stützpunkt für seine ausgedehnten Reisen in Europa und
auf verschiedenen Kontinenten (zuletzt Südamerika).
Die übrigen Bewohner sind Auszubildende, Studenten und Menschen mit
unterschiedlichen Professionen im Alter von 20 bis 40 Jahren. Studenten der HSG gibt es
zur Zeit nur eine.

We offer the possiblity for renting furnished or unfurnished rooms on short or long terms.
The rooms are situated in the ground floor and the second flat (equal 1st floor / 3rd floor in
american counting). All together there are 8 rooms to be rented seperatly.
The rooms are non-smoking rooms. Possiblity to smoke exists on two terraces one of
which ist roof-topped.
The house is situated on the outskirts of the city of St Gallen about 6 min to walk to the
busstop (line nr. 5 serving duringdaytime every 10 minutes transportation directly to the
university passing the central station). From the same point (Riethüsli) a train carries you
into the Appenzeller Land.
The house is situated on the arterial road which leads from St Gallen into the Appenzeller
Land. Because of good isolation the molestation from noise pollution is less than
moderate.
Directly from the house there are starting several trails, connecting to an extensive system
of trails which cover the Appenzeller Land.
Those who want to study in the HSG of St Gallen should know that there exist better
situated living communties in St. Gallen.
Besides the own room inhabitants are free to use several common rooms in the house
covering an area of more than 100 sqm as is in the 1.st floor: a kitchen, a dining room, a
living room, a veranda to be used in the warm period of the year.
In the basement there is a laundry room and a roof topped balkony with a ping-pong table.
Friends of music may play on the grand piano on the 1. st floor, friends of reading the
library in the basement (mostly in german, some titles in english and a few in spanish,
french or italian), which can also be used for music-exercise or parties.
Newly renovated or installed bathrooms exist on every floor.
The prize of the rooms range according to size, location and equipment from 460 CHF to
730 CHF per month. Prices include electricity, heating, water and W-Lan.
If rented short term (below one resp. half a year) prices are higher. Details about prices
and availability will be given separatly on demand.
The owner of the house, a youngful retired doctor uses in the house a sleeping room and
an office as starting point for extended travels through Europe and other continents (last
year Latin America).
The other inhabitants are students, trainees and working in different professions and are
in the age between 20 and 40 years. Right now, we have only one student from HSG in
the house.
