MONITORING LAWS IN SOUTH DAKOTA CAMERAS

Sturgis Police were alerted to the abuse when relatives Brittany Boyd and Vicki Hullinger decided to place a small camera in the women's room at the senior care facility. The videos were live online with a commercial "Nest" cam and archived streamed so that the police could see them. The woman is in a wheelchair and has limited capabilities mobility and communication.
