Simon has been on the go as a DJ since the late 90ies. Since then he has played allover Europe always trying to pull down borders with his music.He was co-founder of ProjectEast, a communications and representation platform with the task of promoting cultural exchange between east and west, working for the labels Klein Records and Soundlab Entertainment, has been resident Dj and booker for Sass Music Club for nearly 2 years and is running Tjumy Records / Tjumy Music together with Lee Stevens and CrisCo.Furthermore he started producing a few years ago under the name Whare together with them and is currently working on different new musical projects.In his dj set he mixes everything from 100 – 130 bpm with quality, deepness and a certain kind of musical substance.

Every month the Ghostbusters show their mixing skills in numerous locations all over Austria and Germany. Musically they get involved in a wide range of music including funk and other genres, but generally Testa and Chrisfader try to stick to their Roots – Hip-Hop Music! So a ghostbusters party is all about being open minded and supporting good music, espacially underground Hip-Hop!

Jeru is acknowledged as one of the best hiphop turntablist‘s in Austria for almost a decade now. After having his first releases on the label ‘subotage‘ in 2000 he also achieved the austrian ITF scratching Vicechampion title in 2004 and has been djing alongside many well-known international acts like rjd2, nextman or london electricity, bringing a real and deep sound to the austrian hiphop scene. He soon will release his first solo album, promising remixes, and sideprojects with Guilty Simpson and Afu Ra. His energetic Dj sets focus on funk, oldskool, true school, glitch Hiphop, breakbeat and dubstep mixed in his impressive turntablism style.

Zitat: „begonnen hat alles bei einem freund im wohnzimmer, mit einem absoluten low budget equipment. ich konnte und wollte mich schon damals nicht für eine bestimmte musikrichtung entscheiden, was einerseits das erlernen des mixing’s erschwerte, aber andererseits viel routine und spontanität brachte. auch in zukunft lasse ich mich in keine schublade stecken, gut ist, was gefällt! reggae, dub, hip hop, jazz, house, elektro, breakbeat, alternative, drum & bass, dazu noch eine prise funk und einen spritzer soul, das ganze abwechslungsreich miteinander vermischen und je nach geschmack mit etwas latin oder gypsysound versüssen – fertig“.
